Terms of Service — Eagle Catalog

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Eagle Catalog online storefront (the "Store"), operated by the Singapore American School Parent Teacher Association ("SAS PTA," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order or otherwise using the Store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.

The Store is operated as a volunteer- and staff-supported program of the SAS PTA to provide spirit wear, gifts, and merchandise to the SAS community, and is not a commercial retail business.

1. Eligibility

The Store is intended primarily for SAS parents, guardians, staff, students (via a parent or guardian), and alumni. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or are placing the order with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Products, Descriptions & Availability

  • We aim to describe products, sizing, and materials accurately, but colors, print placement, and material texture may vary slightly from photos due to production runs, screen display, and manufacturing tolerances.
  • Sizing charts are provided on individual product pages; sizing is provided as a guide, not a guarantee of fit.
  • All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue a design, or substitute a comparable item if a product becomes unavailable after ordering, and will contact you if a substitution or cancellation is needed.
  • Seasonal, limited-edition, and grade-specific items (e.g., graduation or grade-level exclusives) may sell out permanently and will not be restocked.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in SGD and are subject to change without notice until an order is placed.
  • Payment is processed securely through Shopify's payment platform at checkout. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Proceeds from the Store support SAS PTA programs and community initiatives for the SAS student body.
  • Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

4. Promotions & Seasonal Pricing

From time to time we offer seasonal pricing, bundles, or gifting-focused promotions to celebrate school milestones and community events. These are framed as appreciation or celebration offers rather than inventory clearance, and are described accurately at the time they are offered. Promotional pricing applies only during the stated window and cannot be applied retroactively to prior orders.

5. Order Processing, Pickup & Shipping

  • Orders are typically fulfilled within 3 business days of purchase, excluding school holidays and breaks.
  • Campus delivery arrangements: Orders may be available for pickup or delivery at designated times/locations on the SAS campus, as communicated at checkout or by email.
  • Shipping: Where shipping is offered, delivery times and fees will be shown at checkout and are estimates only; we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or events outside our control.
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate pickup/shipping information; we are not responsible for orders misdirected due to incorrect information provided at checkout.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Order Issues

  • If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at pta.storemanager@sas.edu.sg within 14 days of receipt/pickup with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund at our discretion.
  • Because many items are produced in limited or made-to-order runs, we generally do not accept returns for size or preference changes, but may offer an exchange where stock allows — contact us and we'll do our best to help.
  • Personalized, customized, or name-printed items are final sale unless defective.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All SAS names, logos, insignia, mascots, and related marks are used by the SAS PTA under the school's authorization and remain the property of Singapore American School.
  • Store content — including product photography, descriptions, and original artwork commissioned for the Store — is owned by or licensed to the SAS PTA and may not be reproduced, resold, or used commercially without written permission.
  • Purchasing a product grants you the right to use it personally; it does not grant any license to reproduce SAS marks or Store artwork elsewhere.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Store to: violate any law; attempt to interfere with the Store's security or normal operation; submit false payment or identity information; or resell products purchased from the Store for commercial gain without our written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the SAS PTA, its volunteers, and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Store or products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

10. Privacy

Information collected at checkout (such as name, contact details, and order history) is used solely to fulfill orders and communicate with you about the Store, and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy [LINK]. We do not sell customer information to third parties.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Store after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
